We may know a thing or two about where to go around here, but the best thing about visiting our National Parks is that there are always moments you can’t plan for.
You can map out your stop at one specific viewpoint to see the Tetons, but you’ll still find yourself pulling over for one more look anyways. You can head into Yellowstone with your checklist of things to see, and instead, spend hours watching a geyser or a herd of bison roaming around the valley.
We’re so lucky to have wild places like these; places big enough, strange enough, and beautiful enough to make even your highest expectations feel a little too small.
We hope you spent with those who matter most, exploring some of our favorite wild places, and maybe finding a few new ones of your own.
