If you've ever driven in Michigan, you know this sign is just a suggestion.

The speed limit is 70, but if you're actually going 70 in the left lane, you've got approximately 47 cars tailgating you wondering why you're driving so slow. The right lane is going 75. The middle lane is going 80. And that Dodge Charger that just flew past you? Pretty sure they're attempting time travel.

And somehow we've ALL collectively agreed that 9 over is the magic number where cops might care. Maybe. If they're bored. On a Tuesday.

Out-of-state drivers be like "wow, everyone's going so fast!" Meanwhile we're over here like "this is literally a normal Tuesday commute, why is this person in front of me going the speed limit, are they okay?"

The best part? We'll do 90 on the highway but take 20 minutes to merge onto it because we're all politely waiting our turn at the on-ramp. Michigan nice meets Michigan speed.

Also, shoutout to the person doing 55 in the left lane with their blinker on for the last 12 miles. We see you. We don't understand you, but we see you.
