Excelsior Lodge #441 AF&AM

Excelsior Lodge #441 AF&AM Excelsior Lodge #441, Jackson, Missouri Acacia Lodge #95 A.F.& A.M. was chartered by the Grand Lodge of Missouri on December 13, 1847.

With the vicissitudes of the Civil War Acacia Lodge was disbanded in 1858. Former members having gone to Cape Girardeau lodges and Millersville determined to establish a new lodge and on February 17, 1872, a dispensation was issued. Excelsior Lodge #441 was chartered on October 16, 1872. The original Lodge building's cornerstone was layed on August 14, 1879 and it served until the building was de

stroyed by a tornado March 11, 1923. A new building was erected at its present location at 204 S. High in Jackson with its cornerstone layed on November 19, 1923. Excelsior Lodge meetings are the 2nd & 4th Mondays of every month with the Lodge meal starting at 6:30pm and Lodge starting at 7:30pm, unless otherwise noted.
