When the rain brings a bit of misty mountain magic to the Kaibab National Forest and the North Rim. Makes it feel a bit like stepping into Narnia or the world of Tolkien. Come stop inside to warm up by the fire or settle in for the night til the fog lifts. Travel safe out there!

It's hunting season in the Kaibab National Forest, and on drizzly days, Jacob Lake Inn is the perfect spot to stop in for a warm meal, cozy up by the fire, or grab some cookies to keep you fueled for the next round of scouting and tracking. Good luck out there!

Many people and businesses are struggling in the aftermath of the Dragon Bravo Fire last year and now the Bright Angel Flood this year. We are grateful for the Small Business Administration's opening loans to those who can use it. We hope it will get us all through these next months and years as rebuilding happens.

This week, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced the availability of low-interest federal disaster loans for small businesses and private nonprofit organizations experiencing economic losses from the recent flash flooding at Grand Canyon National Park. The disaster declaration, ...

We are feeling grateful for another push by Arizona Senators to help Congress understand the dire need the Grand Canyon region has after successive disasters since last year's White Sage and Dragon Bravo Fires. We recognize there are many places in the nation experiencing disaster recovery and challenges. However, we also know that the Grand Canyon is one of the wonders of the world, and people's experiences in our beautiful part of the country often shape their perception of our nation and our citizens. We hope that this aide for our region will not only go directly to the national park, but will help the gateway businesses, like ourselves, and towns in the region to stabilizes after so much uncertainty and financial loss.

Thank you to each person who has supported us this past year and all the years before. Our 103-year-old legacy is possible because of the thousands of family vacations, weekend roadtrips, cookie stops, and friends old and new. Thank you for making Jacob Lake Inn a part of your memories and your North Rim experience.

The North Rim is open and the leaves are changing! So come visit us during this golden time of year. We'll have the cookies ready.

Sen. Mark Kelly along with the rest of Arizona’s Democratic congressional delegation are asking Congress for additional funding to help Grand Canyon National Park recover from a series of disasters in the past year.

The North Rim is open, and Fall is the best time to explore and photograph the iconic viewpoints of Cape Royal, Point Imperial, and Toroweep. The aspen leaves are changing colors and even the light feels just a bit more golden. Come make Jacob Lake Inn your start and end point for fall adventures.
