We feature a convenient boat ramp for easy river access and a campground for tent camping. Congrats to the Balls for their Toy Story costumes and a cute little giraffe for the pet category.

We are so excited to be partnering with Yadkin Animal Shelter for our Cook Off on Nov 14. All profits from the cookoff entries will go straight to the shelter. They will have some dogs for adoption at the event. If you have room in your heart and home we might have the right fur baby for you. I got the chance to go meet some dogs that currently need homes. Yall meet:
*The tan and white girl is Julia. She is only 11 months old and loves nothing more than to have her belly rubbed. As soon as she got to me she dropped onto her back. Extremely sweet.
*The German Shepherd is Zorro. This handsome boy is such a sweetheart giving the shelter volunteer kisses. He was actually found wondering around a campground, so he might be your next camping partner.
*Jordan is the tan pit/lab mix. She is about a year old and full of energy. She does seem to have been an inside pet at some point because is potty trained.
*And the last big guy is Oso (the Spanish word for "bear"). This Great Pyrenees is just a big teddy bear. He slowly came over and stood by me as long as I'd rub him. He'd be a great yard or farm dog if you have a fenced in area for him.
These guys aren't guaranteed to be at the event so if you are interested in them or any of the animals in the shelter, call (336) 849-7901.
If your home is already full and you can't adopt at this time, they are also taking donations of: dry dog and cat food, wet cat food, dish soap or laundry detergent, or dog toys.
