So excited to welcome back some of our favorite guests and to meet new ones! This weekend is off to a FABULOUS start...and I couldn't wait to share a few pics we took today!!

We're loving listening to all the laughter. Seeing the hugs as family and friends greet each other. The smell of the campfire as the temps are just perfect to hang out around it.🔥

Ride your bike from our Park on the Knox and Kane Rail Trail over to the Kinzua Bridge State Park where you can walk out on the Skywalk!! It's definitely a "MUST SEE" when visiting this area.

Hike at the back of our Park down to the active Beaver Dam and beyond into the Allegheny Nation Forest. Trails for miles and miles!

One evening plan to pop over to the Kane Family Drive-In...just 5 miles around the corner.

Take a short drive to Bradford and enjoy Zippo/Case Museum & Flagship Store.

Enjoy other scenic hikes like Jake's Rocks and Rimrock Overlook.

Set your alarms because access to the Skywalk resumes tomorrow, September 1st, at 8:00 AM! We have all missed this breathtaking view of the Kinzua Gorge, so make your plans to come see it today.

🍁 Fall Foliage Update: Autumn colors are notoriously hard to predict at Kinzua Bridge State Park! Be sure to follow along with us right here at Trail Central, and we will keep you updated with live reports as the foliage season progresses.

🚴 Trail Central Pro Tip: Want to skip the parking lot and make an adventure out of it? One of the absolute best ways to view the park is by biking in on the Knox & Kane Rail Trail!

Mt. Jewett: 2 trailheads available for a quick 4-mile bike ride (one way) to the Skywalk.

Lantz Corners: Parking available for a scenic 7-mile ride (one way).

Kane: Hit the trailhead right in town for an epic 17-mile ride (one way).

🍁 Fall 2026 Attraction Operating Schedule:

Skywalk: Opens 9/1/2026 - Closes 10/31/2026

Kinzua Creek Trail: Opens 9/5/2026 - Closes 10/31/2026

While, both attractions are scheduled to open on the above mentioned dates, we would like to remind our visitors that there may be times during this period, that they may be closed for unforeseen circumstances, related to weather or maintenance operations. Please, heed all posted signage in and around these areas.

🚙 PARKING INFORMATION: once designated parking has reached capacity, additional visitors will be turned away at the gate. Gate closures will be conducted as a series of rolling closures throughout the day, and will occurred based upon observed visitor numbers. To enhance visitor and staff safety, pedestrians are not permitted to park and walk into the park via Viaduct Road during these closures. Individuals wishing to enter the park via the MJ2KB section of the Knox and Kane Rail Trail are asked to utilize trailheads outside of the park and bike in rather than using the park as a trailhead. To avoid these interruptions to your visit, please consider visiting during the week if possible.
