Our Story

We married in Hawaii in 2002 and fell in love with the islands. In 2009 we were fortunate enough to buy our own little piece paradise at the beachfront Beach Villas at Ko’Olina resort on the west side of Oahu.

Ko’Olina means “Place of Joy” and encompasses four ocean lagoons connected by over a mile of seaside pathways. Our beach villa is situated on the second lagoon, the “Honu Lagoon”. The Four Seasons Resort and Disney Aulani share the first lagoon, the Marriott Beach Club is on the third lagoon, and the Ko’Olina Marina is on the fourth lagoon. The Atlantis resort will also be joining the Ko’Olina family and is scheduled to break ground on the new resort in 2019. Across from the resorts and marina is the Ted Robinson designed Ko’Olina Golf Resort. A wide variety of fantastic restaurants, shopping, and groceries are all also nearby.

In addition to the spectacular views at the luxury Beach Villas at Ko’Olina resort there is a lap pool, lagoon style pool, sand bottom kids pool, and three hot tubs. There is also gym, sauna, steam room, beachfront bar, and four BBQs on the property. Our spacious villa is approx 1400 sq ft, and has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a large lanai with an ocean view. The master bedroom has a king bed, the second bedroom can be set up with a king bed or two twin beds, and there is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. It can comfortable sleep 6 people.
