🏀🔥 Another Exciting Basketball Weekend Ahead at the Kearney SportsPlex! 🔥🏀
This Saturday and Sunday (January 17–18), the Kearney SportsPlex will welcome the Kearney Booster Club Classic – Supreme Basketball Tournament! The number of participating teams is one of the highest we've hosted for a basketball tournament to date! We’re gearing up for an energetic, action-packed weekend and want to share a few important reminders for participants and spectators.
⏰ Event Start Times
• Saturday: Games begin at 10:00 AM (doors open at 8 AM)
• Sunday: Games begin at 8:00 AM (doors open at 7 AM)

• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
What is the Play Zone?
The Kearney SportsPlex is excited to introduce our Play Zone—a designated turf area where children can enjoy open play while parents take advantage of other facility amenities.
Play Zone Guidelines:
• Open to children ages 7 and older
• Children under 7 must be accompanied by someone 16 or older
• $5 per child + completion of the Play Zone Supervision Policy Form at the Front Desk
• Children may bring their own balls (soccer balls, footballs, kickballs, etc.)
• All play must remain within designated Play Zone areas
• SportsPlex staff monitor play and enforce rules but are not childcare providers
• Parents/guardians must remain in the facility at all times
• One rule warning will be issued—continued violations will result in removal from the Play Zone (no refunds)
🍕 Concessions
Hot concessions will be available all weekend, including Pizza Ranch breakfast, beef, pepperoni & cheese pizza; Triple Threat hot sandwiches; hot dogs; breakfast burritos; pretzels; nachos; Uncrustables; pickles; protein bars; beef jerky; popcorn; candy; Coke products; Fairlife Chocolate Protein Shakes; Monster Energy Drinks; and flavored hot & iced lattes, cappuccinos, and chai lattes.
🕘 Concession Hours:
• Saturday: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Sunday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
🚗 Parking Information
• Main parking: West of the facility in the large paved parking lot
• Overflow parking: Directly south of the building (see map), south of Younes Drive
• Parking along the south side of Younes Drive is permitted
• 🚫 Parking on the north side of Younes Drive is prohibited—vehicles may be ticketed or towed

• $4 students | $7 adults
