I picked up the ported B16 head from Heads Up, our local head shop. They got me dialed in with a deep clean, resurface, and installed flat face valves with duel valve springs. Too excited not to, I laid it all out and got it ready for assembly. More on this motor build soon. 🤘🏽

Nothin like waving your buddies by at OnGrid to kick you into high gear to build a motor for the CRX that my wife drives to yoga and the grocery store.

The CRX got a little love over the weekend. 🖤
A 🇨🇳duel core aluminum radiator from a 80-92 VW Scirocco paired with Your Trusted Source! B16 fill neck. Stoked on the room this option opened up!
An Innovative Mounts pro series traction bar also was installed on the mission for better clearance.
The old one kissed a curb created one hell of a night…

Throwback to April 20th 2020 in Revelstoke, BC.
This was the maiden voyage of the very first prototype of the Element Swivel.

Livin in Revy during covid gave me ample time to camp and mess around in the garage. Perfect time to execute this swivel seat idea that I’ve had in my head since 2006 when living in my 1985 VW Vanagon. I ordered up a boat seat swivel, pulled out some square and angle iron, started cuttin and zappin, and created the first working proto to test the theory in the Element chassis. Stoked to say it worked out great but that little boat swivel got REAL loose after a while.. Nonetheless, the plan worked and was ready for refinement. For the time being, I got some good use out of that thing and one could say a product and business were born that day. 🌱

I kept the OG swivel around and hung it up in the shop. It’s a fun reminder to reflect back on. Thank you all that have supported this journey and especially those that trusted me and my wild product ideas.

The Port Flow Design B16 head that I scored from C's Customizing was once painted with black spray paint. We couldn’t be havin all that. With a little , she’s lookin brand new and ready to head off for new guides and a valve job. She’s almost ready for duty! 🫡

Got snipped the other week and was put on “light duty”. Felt like the prime opportunity to build this B18c1 shortblock bullet. CRX is gonna be movin and groovin with this thing under the hood! 🕺🏻

Throwback to Hot Import Nights at Evergreen Speedway in 2016. Smurf skin delly and Isaac Lafountaine’s 4 door Integra that got the Hiro’s treatment long before Hiro’s Hotrods. JDM front end conversion, shaved and tucked bay, fresh paint in the bay and exterior, plus a list of other things. This car is still around but collectin dust. Hopefully we can all see it out and about next summer!! Ike.. 👀
