Today, we celebrate the life, legacy and enduring spirit of Jimmy Buffett — a true Key West icon whose music helped share the soul of this island with the world.

In honor of Jimmy Buffett Day, we’re especially proud of the connection Pier House holds within that story. As recognized in the official proclamation, the Chart Room at Pier House is one of the places where Jimmy found an early audience and circle of friends during his early days in Key West.

That history means so much to us, and we were honored to have members of our Pier House team on hand for this special moment of recognition in Key West.

Jimmy’s spirit lives on in the stories, songs and sense of place that continue to define this island, and we’re proud that Pier House remains a part of that legacy.
