MEET OUR ARTIST HOUSE LIVING LEGEND: SHAWN WATSON. To anyone who has ever stayed at The Artist House, you have no doubt been spoiled by Shawn who has made it his life mission to making others happy. He is the kindest of souls, with an infectious smile, who would literally give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. Regrettably, on October 28, 2025, Hurricane Mellisa destroyed Shawn’s family home in Jamaica causing great personal and financial pain to him and his family. On this Thanksgiving Eve, we are reminded that even living legends like Shawn who shine with so much joy and give so much to others hurt from time to time; they too sometimes rely on the kindness and generosity of others to lift the spirt, return the favor. If Shawn has ever lifted your spirit, or if you just want to contribute something to a worthy cause on this Thanksgiving, so that a good man who has given so much to so many in so many ways can rebuild his family home.
