Jimmy Buffett’s music, stories, and love for Key West helped put our little island paradise on the map—and his spirit of friendship, community, and living life to the fullest is something we’re proud to celebrate right here in the Florida Keys. 🏝️

We spotted these gentle giants cruising through the marina at Boyd’s Key West Campground before heading out for a day on the water! 🛥️🌊

Did you know Florida manatees can grow to 13+ feet and weigh more than 3,500 pounds? These peaceful herbivores spend much of their day grazing on aquatic vegetation and traveling through Florida’s waterways. 🐋🌿 (FWC⁠)

Seeing wildlife like this is one of the incredible perks of being waterfront in the Florida Keys—but if you’re heading out on a boat, remember: go slow, look below, follow manatee protection zones, and always give manatees plenty of space. 🚤👀💙 (FWC⁠)

Here at Boyd’s we take our sun protection seriously and that means sunscreen as well as UV apparel. Two of the new brands we have in this summer are Bask and Sun Singles.

All of Bask’s products are made in Miami and formulated without oxybenzone or octinoxate. Free of parabens and sulfates they are water and sweat proof up to 80 minutes, as well as being reef safe. We’re currently stocking the Daily Invisible Gel SPF 40 and the SPF 50 Sun Stick.

The Sun Singles are available in both 10-pack pouches and also individual single-use packets. These little packets are super easy to slip into a pocket (or bag) which means you don’t have to worry about carrying a full-size sunscreen when you’re out and about enjoying your favorite outdoor activities!
