"It's so nice out today." "Yeah, but forecasts still say impacts are coming." Sound familiar? 🌀

If you spend much time here in the islands, you know this dance. Storms make close approaches to Hawaii more often than people realize, and plenty of them pass with barely a blip. Nolo may end up being one of those, or it may bring real impacts to parts of Maui. Nobody knows for sure yet, and that's exactly why we always stay tuned instead of guessing.

Maui County is currently under a Tropical Storm Watch, with forecasts calling for 4 to 10 inches of rain and building surf. There could be a lot of rain, wind, and storm surge. Or it could turn out be a beautiful weekend with some extra wind and surf. That's hurricane season here.

✅ Stay flexible, skip any risky plans (i.e. Hana), but don't cancel your whole weekend on a maybe
