First Friday is a fun-filled, family-oriented event held the first Friday of each month, from 6pm to 8pm, in historic downtown Manteo. The sidewalks pulse with live music, magic, artisans, food, drinks and much more.
Friday, June 5: We will have line dancing, hula hooping, and fire dancing in The Courtyard. There will also be live music by Mama's Black Sheep in The Davis Lot and The Walking Dolphins at Magnolia Pavilion.

Visit the event website for more information on the Ceremony, taking place on Monday, May 25, at 11 a.m. The event will be held at the Veterans Memorial in front of Town Hall. This meaningful ceremony honors the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. All are encouraged to attend to reflect, remember loved ones, and pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the Board of Commissioners Room.
