In 1970, 25¢ got you a pamphlet chocked-full of KOA campgrounds. In 2026, we still have our KOA Directory, guiding campers throughout North America. No need to send us a quarter, though - you can keep the change. 😉

Pick up a copy of the KOA Directory at any KOA campground, or find our digital copy here: http://koa.uberflip.com/i/1543262-koa-2026-directory-digital/0

Happy , campers!

This week, we're heading to the Hoosier State’s Land of 101 Lakes. This campground is a lakeside retreat, perfectly positioned off the longest road in the U.S. This is year-round camping at its finest, whether you're here to stay or just passing through.

The amenities list at this campground is long. Like, really long. We're talking four playgrounds, co****le, volleyball, and basketball. A pristine private sandy beach. A dock for fishing and boating. Even a fish cleaning station! You could easily spend your entire trip exploring what's available right onsite. And with hundreds of campsites to choose from, every type of camper finds their perfect spot. Pro tip: if you’re bringing your four-legged camper, be sure to check out this KOA’s Paw Pen Sites.

Need to venture off-property? The campground's namesake town is just 5 miles away. Plus, you're less than three hours from Chicago, Detroit, and Indianapolis, making this the ideal home base or convenient stopover for any road trip.

So... which KOA is this? Drop your best guess in the comments below! We'll reveal the answer tomorrow. Good luck!

While KOAs offer a consistent basecamp across North America, the landscapes surrounding them are entirely unique. Take, for instance, our northernmost and southernmost campgrounds.

Up near the Arctic Circle, Fairbanks / Chena River KOA in North Pole, Alaska, sits right along the Chena River. It’s the ultimate basecamp for spotting moose and eagles, exploring the tundra, and witnessing the breathtaking Aurora Borealis.

Travel nearly 5,000 miles southeast, and you’ll trade the tundra for paradise at the Sugarloaf Key / Key West KOA Resort in the Florida Keys. Here, warm ocean waters, sunny beaches, and iguanas take center stage.

North, South, East, or West, from the pine trees to the palms, there's a KOA waiting for you. ☺️⛺️🌲🌴

It's time for , campers!

Combine prehistoric finds with all the benefits of modern camping at this week's KOA. Strategically located near Route 191, this campground is the perfect pit stop for Western road trippers.

The campground's variety of RV sites accommodates everyone, from the van lifers to the motorhome enthusiasts. Choose from pull-thru, back-in, or KOA Patio sites and spend less time setting up and more time relaxing. No RV? No problem. Stay in a ultra-comfy Deluxe Cabin or a classic tent site.

The area is known for its abundance of dino finds. Under 20 miles away is Dinosaur National Monument, where you can see over 1,500 fossils on exposed cliff face. Other state parks in the area provide boating and fishing with views of dinosaur tracks along the way. After you've channeled your inner paleontologist, camp is a welcome respite. Challenge your fellow campers to a game of horseshoes or giant jenga, cool off in the pool, or take in a movie under the stars.

The question is - what KOA are we talking about? Comment your best guess below! The answer will be revealed in tomorrow's comments.

Frequently Asked Questions for our Halloweekends – October 23rd - 25th

(Some of these times may change from weekend to weekend – please make sure you are planning your trip based on the FAQ’s that relate to your camping dates!)

Trick-or-Treating is from 4:00 – 5:30pm on Saturday of each Halloween weekend.

There is no vehicular traffic in the campground DURING this time. No driving of cars, golf carts, bikes, scooters, rollerblades, etc. If you are caught driving at this time you will be asked to park wherever you are stopped and must wait until the roads open.

There are no exceptions to this rule – PLEASE plan accordingly.

You can reserve a golf cart ONLINE at any time or when the Sports Court is open on Thursday from 10:00am - 8:00pm (this time is subject to change) and Friday from 10:00am - 6:00pm.
The cost is:
Premium Carts – $100 for all day on Friday - $60 for all day on Saturday
Standard Carts - $70 for all day on Friday - $45 for all day Saturday

Golf Carts are due back at 6:00pm on Friday and 3:30pm on Saturday. We do make this adjustment every year!

Premium Carts can be picked up at 9:00am.
Standard Carts can be picked up at 10:00am.

Thursday you can rent a cart through the Sports Court only – not through the Front Office.

Expect about 500 trick-or-treaters to your site! We do not expect you to pass out candy but it is encouraged! We do pass out candy as well.

We do allow only 2 cars for each Site/Kabin/Lodge through the Front Gate to limit traffic throughout the campground. For a car to be able to go through the Front Gate into the campground, it does need to be REGISTERED AT CHECK-IN. You can register more than 2 cars to a site, however, only 2 are allowed in the campground as previously stated. The other cars will receive a visitor’s car tag and would need to park in visitor's parking. The swapping of car tags is not allowed.

Due to the amount of activities that we do have on Halloween weekends – our
Visitor’s fee is a little different than in the summer:

Ages 0-6 are FREE
7 – 64 - $20.00 per person
Ages 65 and older - $2.00
Overnight Visitors: $30.00

ANYONE NOT REGISTERED AT CHECK-IN IS CONSIDERED A VISITOR AND WILL NEED TO PAY THE VISITOR'S FEE AND PARK IN THE VISITOR PARKING LOT!
