With the recent rains, the poppies are popping at Adobe creek. Come check them out. They are amazing.

All bar varieties are in stock with the exception of the Not Quite White with Matcha and Lavender that completely sold out last week. We have another batch in the works scheduled to be released on Thursday. We like this bar so much we entered it into the 2026 International Chocolate Awards!! We should hear the results soon.

The Dark Alto Beni Bolivian bar currently in stock is from the late 2025 harvest. We just received beans from the most recent 2026 harvest. Come in and taste the difference. If you love the 2025 harvest bar, now is the time to come in and get some of the remaining stock.

Plenty of Buffalo Trace (bourbon) chocolate and dark chocolates available just in time for Father's Day. Speaking of Father's Day, there's still time to schedule a Father's Day Chocolate Making Class for dad and the family.

If you are looking for a fun family event, check out the community yoga at Hiwan Heritage Park in Evergreen every Tuesday at 6:00pm. Pay what you can. All Levels Welcome!

Father's Day has always been a very special day for me. This year it lands on
June 21. If your dad is the kind of person who notices what he is eating, a bar of fresh, small-batch chocolate made with real ingredients is the way to go. We've stocked up on the Bourbon bar and the chili chocolate just for this holiday.

All bars are in stock with the exception of the Matcha Lavender that completely sold out last week. There's a new batch of 100% Bolivian for those who like it REALLY dark. I hope to make a 100% Ecuadorian bar soon and have a taste off! Dark Peppermint and the Buffalo Trace Bourbon bars are both in stock.

CDOT has been working on 74. If you're stuck in traffic, drop in for some chocolate! The associated endorphins trigger positive emotions and feelings.

All flavors are in stock except for the Chili - a new batch is out late Tuesday afternoon.

Back by demand the Buffalo Trace Bourbon will be ready on Thursday.

The Dark Peppermint is also back in stock and you should try the new Peruvian and wild Bolivian! Both are AMAZING.

Our first batch of our 100% Bolivian Alto Beni was released earlier this month and we are already sold out. One ingredient - just cacao! We have a new batch in the works for release on Wednesday.

Last week was crazy. Mother's Day. Teacher Appreciation Week. Oh my. Last minute graduation gifts and end-of-the-year teacher gifts are available.

That said we are out of the plain Caramel, the vegan Oat Milk bar, the 72% Bolivian Alto Beni and low on Stuart's Smile, the newest award winner. The beans from the 2025 Alto Beni harvest are almost gone so we are making our first batch from the 2026 harvest. If you liked the 2025 bar, come get yours before they’re gone!

May chocolate making classes are full. We are now scheduling June dates. If interested please send us an email.

Don't miss the annual spaghetti dinner at the Indian Hills Community Center, this Sunday, May 17 at 5:30 PM.

You know, we are big supporters of the Evergreen Audubon Society. Their 2026 Annual Bash and Benefit is June 5th at the Elks Lodge. Tickets are going fast.

Oh my it's a busy week.

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4 to May 8 with National Teacher Day on Tuesday, May 5. Teachers deserve our appreciation every day of the year, but having a dedicated time to share a thank-you really drives this message home. Come by and pick up some thank-you bars in various flavors.

Cinco de Mayo is also observed on May 5. A traditional treat is Mola Pablano a thick and savory chile and chocolate sauce.

Mother's Day is Sunday, May 10. Chocolates and flowers go hand in hand, creating a memorable experience. Nothing like local, hand-crafted chocolates.

All chocolates are in stock including our new Not Quite White Matcha Lavender, our award winning Dark Milk Chocolate and our Dark Pepperment. Have you tried the new 67% Dark Peruvian? It's really unique.

ALL bars are in stock, including the sugar-free bars! The Buffalo Trace Bourbon bar is back in stock along with the Jim Beam version.

We now have seven dark bars to choose from:
- Bolivian Alto Beni (farmed) in 72%, 88% and 100%
- Bolivian Tranquilidad (wild) in 72% and 88%
- Ecuadorian Hacienda Victoria in 72%
- Peruvian Piura Blanco in 67%

We won GOLD!!

Last week we found out that we placed in the 2026 Craft Chocolate Challenge. On Tuesday at the award ceremony we found out that we had won GOLD in the milk chocolate category. A Canadian chocolate maker won the bronze and a Japanese maker won silver. Thank you to Dustin the organizer and all the judges!!

Our intern Eve is now a part-time employee! With her help we have made real progress in filling our shelves. Everything is in stock, except for the sugar-free options.
A new batch of Buffalo Trace bourbon bar is in progress. In addition, we have the new Peruvian bar, the Dark Peppermint, and Not Quite White strawberry bar that we made for Easter. Plenty of the Caramel and Dark Coconut are in stock.

All April Chocolate Making Classes are full, but we are taking reservations for May and June.

Come bid on our chocolates at the Parmalee Annual Spring Carnival & Auction Thursday, April 23 from 3-6pm at Parmalee Elementary in Indian Hills. Food, Games, and Prizes and much more! Come join the fun. Entry is free.

Mother's Day is Sunday, May 10. Remember cacao contains tryptophan, which the body converts into serotonin — a neurotransmitter that regulates mood and creates feelings of well-being. Just what all moms need! Come buy and pick up some of her favorites.
