Very sad updates! There is no ice on the Wolford, it is still open water. After meeting with Colorado River District and looking back on records for the last 30 years, there has never not been ice in January. Pre their regulations we are required to have a minimum of 10" of ice for our tournament to happen.
This winter has been unusually and unseasonably warm and not only do we not have ice, but we have no snow and have yet to see a below zero day. We are so sorry to have to do this but at this point we are unable to move forward.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you ON THE ICE in 2027!
