iving room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one shower, one bathtub) a large living room, large dining room, and an open studio room with 2 bunk beds. The Master Bedroom has a Serta Memory Foam Queen size mattress and the guest bedroom has a full size/double bed. There is also a large and very comfortable couch in the living room which could make a bed for a ninth person. The kitchen is stocked with cooking supplies and condiments. I typically have food available unless I am gone for an extended stay. Guests are welcome any food items in the kitchen included food that I have cooked for myself or other guests. Also, there is a full-service grocery store called Piggly Wiggly less than 1/2 mile (0.8 km) away. Washer and Dryer. High-speed fiber optic wireless internet and cable TV. Large cover parking for one car. Space for a second car in uncovered side yard. The neighborhood is very quiet, however, downtown Lafayette has many restaurants (Japanese sushi, French, Leabanese, Mexican, Burgers), music venues, night clubs, and bars and is only 10 blocks (approx 1 mile/1.6 km) or a 15 minute walk away. The house is located 3.4 miles (5.5 km) from the Lafayette airport and 1 mile away from the Amtrak Train Station and Greyhound Bus Station which are both Downtown.

The Lafayette City Council introduced 2 ordinances this that will decimate Short Term Rentals better know as Air BnBs in the city of Lafayette! STRs generate tax revenue, have an economic impact on the city and employ people to ensure that people who prefer this alternative type of stay have the best experience they can and enjoy what our city has to offer!
If you own a STR/AirBnB, are in favor of Air BnBs, have stayed in Air BnBs in your travels and feel that they are good for the city then please call or email everyone on the list below in particular your own council member and let them know you are in opposition to the 2 ordinances. The Council will vote on these at the July 25th meeting! So we have 2 weeks to make our voices heard!
