Also tons of respect to
Ava Heller, who’s a lifetime member of the O’Hana and was actually surfing in the shop in her mama’s belly before she was born. She went on to become an adaptive surfing athlete and won the Gold medal in her division at the 2017 ISA World Adaptive Surfing Championships. Fabio Maximino was also on hand and as my biz partner since post Covid, Goofy Foot is making a comeback.
Without his Aloha and persistent hard work to tackle so many challenges after the Lahaina wildfire it would not be possible.
My deepest luv and alohas go out to all of the above mentioned, who are without a doubt some of my favorite human beings! What they all have in common is a huge heart and love for life and what they do! They all inspire me!
Grateful to them all and, all the Goody Foot Ohana, including all the amazing students and their success stories and transformation we got to share in with them as they learned to surf in life. Most of all, Gratitude to Akua 🙏💙🙏
