The Braken Fern Manor, as it is called today, was built as a market and inn, opening in 1928 as a part of "Club Arrowhead of the Pines". Now, a newly renovated Bed and Breakfast, the Braken Fern is a certified historic California landmark. Located minutes from skiing, hiking, shopping and the scenic Lake Arrowhead; and walking distance from the best entertainment in town, the Tudor House.
