We are honored to have the 1st Peace Pole in the area installed at the Wiawaka trailhead initiated by the Glens Falls Rotary Club, in loving memory of Cindy Amell, a cherished Wiawaka guest, who is deeply missed.

This meaningful addition serves as a lasting reminder of the importance of peace, love, kindness, and the connections we make along the way. Wiawaka has always been a place of friendship, reflection, and tranquility, making this tribute especially fitting.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Rotary Club of Glens Falls for honoring Cindy’s memory in such a beautiful and meaningful way.

We were so happy to welcome WAIT House’s Youth Advisory Board to Wiawaka this past Saturday for their annual retreat!

It warms our hearts to see our beautiful grounds being used for such meaningful connections, growth, and community.

We are also so grateful that we could donate leftover food from our season to help support the incredible work WAIT House does for the community!

At Wiawaka, giving back to our community is at the heart of what we do, and we are always happy to support organizations making a difference!

Sorry we’ve been a little quiet lately! We’ve been taking a much needed break and celebrating a very special occasion, our Program Coordinator DeAnna’s wedding! 💍
