We have an amazing summer weekend coming up!

On Friday we will welcome Cousins Maine Lobster for a drool worthy dinner! Save room for a s’mores bar around the fire!

Saturday we get in the splash zone for our water gun battle! We supply the water guns and games!

Mauii Wowii Shaved Ice and Ice Cream Truck will stop in to serve up some sweet treats!

Sunday we’ll say goodbye with cider donuts at the playground !

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of our campground dog, Gunner. Gunny passed away at home with his family after a brief illness on Wednesday afternoon.

In Gunner’s early life, he was a stray on the streets of Troy. He evaded dog catchers and ransacked garbages (a trait he kept his whole life😅). He was finally caught, adopted, but brought back more than once after the families just could not handle his antics.

By happenstance, he was given one last chance and brought to Will. A young and determined landscaper at the time, Gunner accompanied him in his truck at every job, spent nights training, and working Gunner to burn the high amounts of energy he had. Gunner was happy to be off the streets and moved to a homestead with plenty of fields to run and animals to chase.

Whippoorwill was Gunner’s second home. He knew he ran the show here. He paraded himself around looking for friendly campers to greet and get snacks from. He was a local legend, everyone seemed to know him and have a story to share about him.

Gunner never lost his spirit. Even at the end. But he has left a giant hole in our hearts. We know Gunner has brought a little bit of mischief to heaven, and we cannot wait to see him there to hear the stories.

Rest easy hound.

August 7th-9th we have a weekend of fun planned!

8/7- will be joining us for some absolutely delicious seafood! 🦞

8/8- Get ready to battle! 🔫 We will provide water guns for team battles plus kids vs ‘monsters!’ Maui Wowii Ice Cream Truck will also be joining us!

We’ll wrap up the night with live music with Erin Powers in the Winery, a s’mores bar, and ghost stories by the fire.

8/9- Grab an apple cider donut and laugh with friends one more time before heading home.
