This is an event that "Inn the Pines" is helping to sponsor at
Bel Lago Winery. Great music, great food and, in our opinion, best wines in Leelanau! All for a good cause! We hope for a fantastic turnout for this event and wanted to make sure to let you know about it

We were on M22 coming back from Glen Arbor the other day and saw this thoughtful vandalism of a M22 sign. So many have been stolen, so I guess this is a better option. Whoever did this wanted to bring people's attention to Psalm 22 and took great care to have it stand out on the sign. Psalm 22 speaks of the crucifixion of Jesus and was written by King David almost a thousand years before the event. It is considered a Messianic psalm. I would invite you to read it ‐very appropriate for this Good Friday. But don't stop there. Read the next one- Psalm 23. That speaks of Jesus as our Shepherd. We couldn't have a Shepherd without him first being the Savior. I hope then you would turn to John 3:16 and read of the sacrifice and love of God- but don't stop there- make sure to read John 3:17. Salvation is a gift but it needs to be believed and accepted (Ephesians 2:8 and 9) I hope you have a very blessed Easter!

Decided to go to Leland tonight to see the sunset. Sky looked Gray. Probably not much of a sunset. Decided to go anyway. What a nice surprise!
Would love to have you come up and stay with us and we can tell you where the great spots are to see the sunset. Probably not Leland so much in the summer. It is super crowded! We know other spots that are awesome:-)

Inn The Pines is reopening! But not quite yet. We are taking reservations for later in July and beyond at this point. Restaurants in our area are reopening ( not all, but many) with some restrictions. Many have had and will continue with takeout/curbside pickup. Wineries are reopening also. The way they are functioning varies among tasting rooms. Please feel free to give us a call if you have questions about how we are handling things at Inn The Pines. Here are a few Spring time pictures of our beautiful Leelanau Peninsula- with some wild life thrown in too:) The snow picture was early May! If you look close at the goat picture - it's pretty funny if you can read the sign he is trying to eat😊

Well this poor squirrel has been looking at the feeder and watching the birds getting their fill all morning. He finally made it onto the feeder! But he didn't get into it and immediately fell off -poor thing. These black squirrels are very acrobatic on how they get onto the feeder but they can't get to the seed. Notice the snow- we got about 6-7 inches yesterday and melting off today. So the seed the birds knock onto the ground is covered up. Now he is settling for digging down to get to it! Better plan Mr Squirrel!
