Meet The Last Penny; a tavern and bodega-style market coming to our sister property, The Lodge at Banner Elk, this winter!

Part neighborhood market, part mountain tavern, Last Penny is made for fueling up before a day on the trails or slopes, grabbing a bite with friends, or settling in for a drink after a day outside. Think good food, cold drinks, an indoor/outdoor space, and a place that feels just as welcoming to locals as it does to travelers.

And we’re not just building a restaurant. Last Penny is designed to be a year-round gathering place, for powder days, summer afternoons, leaf season, private gatherings, community events, and everything in between. This is just the beginning. Follow along as we get closer to opening. We can’t wait to welcome you to Last Penny! 🍻
