AMERICA vs. THE WORLD — BUDDY'S PUB QUIZ THIS THURSDAY!

It's the USA taking on the rest of the planet at Buddy's Lounge this Thursday, October 22!

From Hollywood to international music, sporting rivalries to food fights, famous inventions and a few surprises from around the globe. How much do you really know about America and the world beyond?

AND THE RACE FOR THE BUDDY'S FALL PUB QUIZ CHAMPIONSHIP IS ON!

There are just FIVE Quiz Nights left, including this Thursday, to get your FOUR BEST SCORES on the leaderboard and put yourself in the running for our end-of-season prizes! So more than enough time for new teams this week and next!!!

Current Pub Quiz Leaderboard
1. Rob & Co. 27.0
2. Team Eno 24.5
3. Here for the B**r 24.5
4. Off Constantly 23.5
5. Mike 20.5
6. Moe Hoes 20.5
7. Mambo No 5 18.5
8. Ol' Granny 14.0
9. MKF 12.5

So whether you're already climbing the leaderboard or haven't joined us yet, there's still everything to play for!

Round up your smartest (or most entertaining!) buddies, grab a pizza, settle in and see how you stack up against the competition. I'm back in the swing of things and promise not to mess things up this week. Sorry for the snafu with the music round last week:-)

WARNING!! A DELICIOUS BUDDY'S SUNDAY ROAST AHEAD!

Chef Zach has been busy working his magic in the Buddy's Lounge kitchen, and this week's Sunday Roast is looking like something pretty special!

On the menu: Italian-Style Roast Pork Loin Roulade!

A beautiful loin of pork, butterflied and generously layered with fragrant basil (from our garden) pesto, savory pancetta, and sharp Parmesan cheese. Then carefully rolled, tied, and slow-roasted to golden perfection in Buddy's very own wood-fired oven.

And yes, that's the actual roast cooking in the picture! No AI enhancement, no fancy tricks. Just real food, real fire, and a chef who knows what he's doing!

Of course, we're serving it with all the proper Sunday Roast trimmings, because what's a Sunday Roast without all the good stuff?

And if a traditional Sunday Roast isn't quite what you're craving, we've got our other delicious Lounge Specials and, of course, Buddy's famous artisan wood-fired pizzas too!

This Thursday we’re heading BACK TO THE ’90s for Buddy’s Pub Quiz.

This week it’s all about Movies, Actors & Showbiz from the decade that gave us Jurassic Park, Titanic, Pulp Fiction, Pretty Woman, The Matrix, Friends, ER and a seemingly endless supply of celebrity gossip.

Expect the big movies, famous faces, who-played-who, TV, Hollywood, scandals, showbiz news and, of course, a ’90s soundtrack round.

Some will be easy. Some will require your team to dig surprisingly deep into the useless information you’ve been carrying around since 1990s.

NEW FOR THE FALL QUIZ CHAMPIONSHIP

Missed last week? Just joining us? No problem.

Your final Championship score will be based on your team’s BEST FOUR QUIZ NIGHT SCORES between the start of the points season and our Grand Final on November 19.

So there’s still plenty of time for new teams to get involved — and if your team has a shocker one week, you get to throw it away or two.

Four best nights. Highest total wins.

And we’ll reveal the first Buddy’s Fall Pub Quiz Leaderboard at the beginning of Thursday night’s quiz.

Thursday October 15. Questions start at 6pm. Maximum 4 players per team

Get to Buddy’s Lounge early, grab a drink, order a pizza and get your team together.
