As kids, we all remember that first pedal stroke… that first moment we took off on a bicycle by ourselves and felt that incredible sense of freedom and independence.

Now as adults, we get to relive that feeling all over again when we watch our own children take that same leap, gain confidence, and ride off on their own for the very first time.

That’s exactly what drives us here at Magic Dragon Trails — bringing more of those unforgettable moments back to the lake community we love so much.

And now, thanks to the incredible generosity of Scott's Concrete, 35 more kids will have the opportunity to experience that joy for themselves with a brand new bicycle or an upgraded ride!

Yes, you heard that right — Scott’s Concrete has stepped up in a BIG way and donated 35 bicycles for our Hatchery Ridge Trail Grand Opening on June 7, 2026 from 1–4 PM!

We truly can’t say thank you enough. 🙏 We are absolutely giddy with excitement waiting for this event, and we hope the entire community comes out to celebrate with us.

A Day at the Birdhouse (Owner’s Version)

Not every day at the lake is lounging… some days look a little more like this:

🔨 Repairs to the deck (because safety > sunset cocktails…)
🛠 Reinforcing the vintage MCM sofa bed
🌿 Installing a new outdoor swing (future favorite spot, calling it now)
🌸 Impatiently waiting on the Peony to bloom… any day now
🌱 Admiring the Lamb’s Ear popping up from the rocks
🐶 Watching the golfers swing with Elise, who takes her “course supervision” very seriously

And honestly… we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Sometimes the best pieces come with a story…

We found this vintage mid-century modern sofa bed tucked away at an estate sale, and knew it had one more chapter left in it.

After a little love (a deep clean, new hardware support, and a fresh mattress), it’s back to doing what it was made for, hosting, lounging, and soaking in that view.

Now it sits right here at the Birdhouse at Treetop, fitting in like it’s always belonged.

✨ A place to stretch out after a day on the lake

✨ And yes… it still pulls out for extra guests

🚀 Currently orbiting: lake views… and a little NASA nostalgia with TANG.

Back in the early space days, NASA made TANG famous, fueling astronauts as they orbited Earth.

And right now? With the Artemis program missions, NASA is focused on the Moon, tracking and studying its orbit as we prepare to head back.

Here at Birdhouse at Treetop, we’re doing our own kind of orbiting…
