Some places are hard to put into words.
Earthshine has always been about more than a place to stay. It’s about the feeling you get with a warm cup of coffee watching the mist rise from the mountains, conversations had around a campfire, the courage to try something new, the wonder found in nature, and the memories that stay with you long after you’ve gone home.
Our staff and I strive to create a place where people can slow down, step away from the noise of everyday life, and reconnect with what matters most.
So when Plateau Magazine published this beautiful story, “Walking the Soul Back Home,” I felt like they truly understood what we’re trying to build here. Not just a destination, but a place where people can feel a little more connected to nature, to one another, and to themselves.
I’m incredibly grateful to Kristin Landfield for telling our story with such care, to Carole Shepardson and Matt Schneider for capturing the beauty here, and to Emily Davis for including our story. This place holds so much heart, history, and possibility, and there's so much more to come.
Hope to see you soon on the mountaintop, Anna
