🍂 It’s that time of year again at The Victorian Inn!

All summer long, our beautiful cannas have added color, height, and tropical charm to our gardens. But as the temperatures drop and the seasons change, it’s time to dig them up, tuck them into buckets, and carry them down to the basement for their winter rest. 🌿

They’re not gone for good. They’re simply going to sleep, waiting patiently for warmer days and their chance to burst back to life next spring. 🌱

There’s something special about the rhythm of the seasons and the little traditions that come with caring for our historic inn and its gardens. We can’t wait to see these beauties growing again!

What a WEEKEND at The Victorian Inn!

We welcomed 10 guests on Friday night and 16 more on Saturday night, and in between all the excitement, we managed to squeeze in a little football and a start to a BIG project for the Inn!

🏈 The Cleveland Browns pulled off a thrilling win over the Ravens, putting them in a three-way tie for first place in the AFC North!

❤️ And our Ohio State Buckeyes took down Indiana 19-15! Go Bucks!

🚚 Big things are happening at the Inn! Jeff and I picked up a U-Haul FULL of brand-new cabinets for our upcoming winter projects. This winter, we’re giving our kitchenette a makeover and adding a beautiful new buffet to our formal dining room. We’re so excited to keep improving the Inn and making your stays even more special! We can’t wait to share the transformation with you!

🚤 And don’t ask me how, but somehow Jeff and I even managed to sneak away for a beautiful sunset cruise! There’s just something magical about watching the sun set over the water, especially when you live and work in such a beautiful place.
