This Thursday, July 16th, we have Mr. Roger LaBine speaking about all things Manoomin (Wild Rice) - a traditional food source of immense spiritual and cultural importance for many Great Lakes tribal communities. The program starts at 7:00 PM Central Time @ the Ottawa National Forest Visitor Center in Watersmeet.

Now, while I would be honored to answer to all 437 names that humans are capable of inventing, I've been told that isn't practical.

So submission period is officially closed, the Gateway Lodge team will now carefully review all entries.

They'll select the top five finalists.

Duplicate names will be combined, and names that don't quite fit my personality may be gently retired.

For example, "Sir Reginald Fluffington III" may be a fine name.

But it might be a little difficult to fit on a T-shirt.
