🎃👻 WHAT A WEEKEND AT BACK ROADS! 🍂🔥

WOW! What an incredible Halloween weekend at Back Roads Camping & RV Resort! ❤️

From our spooky Haunted Golf Cart Trail 👻 to Trick-or-Treating for kids AND adults, our campers sure know how to have a good time!

🏕️ The decorated campsites were absolutely amazing! You all went above and beyond with your Halloween spirit!

🍲 Our potluck dinner was a feast, complete with a HUGE kettle of homemade chicken corn soup! Nothing brings people together quite like good food and great company.

🎶 And Two Shades of Sound kept the good times rolling with some fantastic entertainment!

But the best part of the entire weekend? THE PEOPLE! ❤️

The laughter, friendships, creativity, and memories made around the campground are exactly what Back Roads is all about.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who decorated, brought food, handed out treats, helped with the Haunted Trail, or simply came out and enjoyed the festivities. YOU are what makes Back Roads such a special place!

We couldn't ask for a better camping family! 🏕️❤️

🌕🍂 It’s getting creepy around the Back Roads… 👻

The leaves are changing, the nights are getting colder, and under the light of the full moon, there is definitely something scary lurking in the woods. 🌲💀

We’ve been hearing strange noises out on the trail. Could it be witches, ghosts and mummies? We’re not entirely sure what might be lurking out there. 👀

It can only mean one thing…

🍩🍦 FRIDAY | 5:00–8:00 PM — PAULUS’ ICE CREAM FILLED DONUTS

Paulus’ Ice Cream Filled Donuts is BACK! If you missed them last time, here’s your chance. And if you didn’t miss them…well, you already know. 😋

🎃 SATURDAY

🍬 3:00–4:30 PM — TRICK OR TREAT
Get those costumes ready and make your way around the campground for Halloween treats!

🎭🍲 5:00–9:00 PM — COSTUME DINNER PARTY & POTLUCK
Come dressed for the occasion and bring your favorite spooky dish to share! We’ll be providing chicken corn soup.

🎶 6:00–9:00 PM — TWO SHADES OF SOUND
Live music to keep the party going into the night!

💀👻 9:00 PM — HAUNTED GOLF CART TRAIL & HAY RIDE

When the music ends and darkness settles over the Back Roads…it’s time to climb aboard the golf carts or hay ride and head into the woods.

The trail is waiting.

And you never know what—or WHO—might be waiting out there with you. 🌕🌲👀

It’s our last big Halloween weekend of the season, so grab your costumes, decorate those golf carts, bring a dish and get ready for one spooky weekend at Back Roads!

🦶🌲 What a SQUATCH-TASTIC Weekend at Back Roads Camping & RV Resort! 🌲🦶

The clouds parted, the sun came out, and what a fantastic weekend we had celebrating Sasquatch Weekend!

We kicked things off Friday night with Sylvia Mays' food truck, Fireside Friday with s'mores around the campfire, and a special visit from Back Roads Sasquatch himself!

Saturday was packed with fun! The scavenger hunt was a huge hit, followed by the Squatch Games featuring the hairy chest contest, Squatch calling contest, and Bigfoot relay race! The laughs were nonstop!

And let's not forget HellBelly BBQ! 🔥🐷 Man, oh man, was that some good eating!

A HUGE thank you to our campground hosts, Brandy and Jason, for organizing such a fun-filled weekend, and to Jason and Amber Willis from HellBelly BBQ for serving up some incredible food!

🍂 The leaves are a-changin’ at Back Roads! 🍁
Fall colors are starting to take over the mountains here in Landisburg, and it’s looking like Sasquatch Weekend is going to have one heck of a backdrop! 🦶🌲
We still have campsites available for this weekend, so come enjoy the crisp fall air, campfires, changing leaves, and a full day of Squatch fun on Saturday! Hellbelly Bbq will be on site so come hungry!
