Must Stops in Lanesboro… the park of course! 🌳🛝 Sylvan Park is what you wish every park could be. 💛 A community space with room to play, fish, walk, read, and even (our favorite)… CAMP! 🏕️

Families love staying in Sylvan Park because it’s walkable to downtown, a smaller campground footprint, and it’s right next to all the park amenities like the playground and pickleball/tennis court. 🎾

Did you know “Venn” means “friend” in Norwegian? 🇳🇴We took inspiration from what it feels like to visit Sylvan Park & our Lanesboro community. It doesn’t matter where you’re from, when you come to Lanesboro… you’re a friend! 💛☀️

Our next Must Stop recommendation in Lanesboro… the dam! This incredible water feature is one of the highlights of town & makes you wish summer would never end! ☀️💛🏕️

Whether you enjoy swimming, tubing, kayaking, fishing or just playing in the sand with your kiddos- the dam is the perfect place to be 😊

Actually- while we dropped by to film this video, a group from Cedar Valley Resort was unloading to start their canoeing adventure 🛶 Soak up the rest of summer & come visit Lanesboro! ☀️ We would love to help you camp the easy way with Camp Venn. 💛

Next stop in our “Must Stop” series is our favorite place to eat: Pedal Pushers Cafe!! Pedal Pushers Cafe

A casual atmosphere. Incredible food. Drawing paper for kids. And don’t sleep on the Brussel sprouts! 😋

They have indoor or outdoor shaded seating, local beverages on tap, and a blackened chicken grain bowl you will wish you could take home with you.

Vacation Rule #1: there’s no troubles once you find the local coffee shop. ☕️ Thankfully, Lanesboro has a great one!

Our first recommendation on our must-stop list is paddleoncoffee 😊 Amazing coffee & food, a thoughtfully crafted space, & a business focused on building community. Visiting on a hot day? They have iced drinks, smoothies & energy drinks too 🧊

Stop by, say hi & odds are, we might just be there too 🙈

We believe wholeheartedly: vacation should NOT add stress! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

If you’re like me, you love planning a trip- finding the best restaurants, bike trails, & hidden gems along the way. BUT things like hooking up to tow, emptying the camper’s tank, and remembering to pack extra blankets… not so fun.

At Camp Venn, we take care of all the not-so-fun parts of camping for you, so your vacation can start from the moment you arrive. We make camping easy! The fall is filling up fast, so book your Camp Venn stay before the season is over 🏕️
