We were delighted to have several camping members of the Meyers Manx Dune Buggy Club stay with us while they attended the Buggies in the Berkshires Rally held at Jiminy Peak this weekend. It was really fun to watch their buggies go in and out of the campground and to hear about their rides and adventures all around our area. We are group experts. Planning a family, school, Scout, church group camping trip? Call us to reserve contiguous RV campsites or one of our Group Tent campsites or a combination of both. Special thanks to Richard Roy for coordinating their group camping trip and for bringing the group to Mt Greylock Campsite Park. We are “beyond grateful”!

Sam and I made our annual trip to Ket-Tree Farms to get the foundation plants for around the deck and a few trees to replace some we have had to take down. Thanks to Sam we no longer plant “ordinary” trees here. This time four birch trees, a thread leaf Japanese maple and two white fringetrees. Come and see them grow and flourish here just like our guests do! Sam will gladly show you all our new additions!

The story of our forsythia bush …Theora
This bush was advertised as “free” from a homeowner in Pittsfield on Marketplace. Sam, our grounds care professional was interested in seeing it for the campground. He had to trailer our tracker to her home to dig it up and trailer it back here, dig a LARGE hole and plant it. I thought it would make a great buffer between two campsites. Sam thought different. He wanted it in the front yard of the campground residence! I originally was not a fan of that suggestion, but I trust him and he is the professional! I love it there and it is blooming! Spring is here! We are open and Theora is waiting to meet you!
