Red Chair Travels on. Red likes the spirits of all kinds and her heard there is a new Brewery Tasting in Langley. Tucked in off Anthes is Double Bluff Brewing Co, Had to met Dan the proprietor and see what the Brew was all about. I enjoyed the full flight!

Red Chair Travels. A visit to Whidbey Island has lots of opportunities. Red has a visit with Mike at the Whidbey Island Distillery where he learned about and sampled (YUM) Loganberry, Blackberry and Raspberry Liquors hand fashioned on site. They also make a Bunker Rye Whiskey. Gotta visit here when you come to Langley.

Red Chair Travels. Langley, Whidbey Island's east side is right on Saratoga Passage and in the spring some of the migrating grey whales come in to feed on ghost and brine shrimp on their journey to Alaska. There is a whale bell in town that is sounded when there are whales sighted off the town’s beach. There is the Langley Whale Center in town that is run by the Orca Network and is a Grey and Orca whale educational experience.
Red learned about Lo**ta a local L pod resident whale captured in 1970 in Penn Cove and about the efforts to retire her and “Bring Lo**ta Home” to her native Northwest.
