Imported from France and brought to Laredo by rail, this massive mirror was photographed outside Laredo Mansion in 1914 before making its way inside the home.

112 years later, it’s still here.

It has watched generations walk through these doors, seen the mansion change through the years, and today it reflects a new chapter — weddings, celebrations, families, and memories being made all over again.

Some pieces decorate a room.

Others become part of its history. ❤️

A historic home that had seen better days, waiting for someone to believe there was still life left in it.

What you see now didn’t happen overnight. The Mansion was brought back so that a house built in 1911 could continue doing what great old homes do best — bringing people together.

Today, these porches and rooms are once again filled with weddings, birthdays, dinners, laughter, families and new memories.

We didn’t want to erase its past.

We wanted to give it a future. ❤️

🕵️‍♂️ WHO SAID CORPORATE EVENTS HAVE TO BE BORING?

Today’s Murder Mystery is a little different — we’re doing it in the middle of the day for a corporate event. 🔎

Instead of the usual meeting, lunch, or team-building exercise, the group gets the Mansion to themselves for a private meal and an interactive murder mystery where everyone becomes part of the investigation.

Search the Mansion. Find the clues. Question your coworkers. Figure out who did it, where they did it, and what weapon they used. 🔪🔍

And yes… apparently I dress like this for lunch now. 😂
