This is the view from the upstairs balcony, and it's pretty much the whole map. Rooms on the left, pool in the middle, tikis on the right, and the Atlantic straight ahead with the pier off in the distance. Small enough to walk end to end in a minute, which is about how long it takes to decide between the pool and the beach. Fall dates are open.

Somebody folded the throw into a fan again, the shutters are cracked to the palms, and the beach is about forty steps past the door. The rooms at High Noon are simple and comfortable, built for people who plan to spend most of the day outside anyway. Sleep in a little. The water isn't going anywhere.

Every group has one person who volunteers to organize things. Hand them this couch and watch the job disappear.
