Positions still open for Tar Hollow 4-H Camp Summer Staff - APPLY NOW!

Consider joining our camp staff! Staff positions that are still available as of March 30th include: Canteen Director/Activity Assistant, Recreation Director, Lifeguards/Canteen Helpers. Additionally, we are still taking applications for kitchen staff!

All positions are subject to changes and modifications after interviews. All positions will be responsible for helping with other camp duties as directed by the Camp Manager/Camp Director and may include basic health checks and cleaning duties.

Tar Hollow 4-H camp sweatshirts are in and look AMAZING! Ross County’s will be in the office tomorrow- other county’s will be available sometime next week (lots of camp set up going so staff might not make it back to their offices until Tuesday/Wednesday! Excited to see these being worn everywhere this summer!

Unfortunately we do have a sad note to share after one amazing weekend. While out in the turtle pen getting some extra vitamin D today our beloved box turtle Fern managed to escape. This turtle has been educating the masses for the last 15 years. If you are at Tar Hollow in the coming days and weeks, please keep your eyes peeled near the Nature Center area and the road leading to the Resident Camp. Fern has taken a small vacation once before and we are remaining optimistic that our little friend will come back home.

Who's PUMPED for our new Tar Hollow 4-H Camp T-shirt this year? Counties will offer pre-order for counselors/campers through the camp registration process in May. Visitors can purchase from the Canteen on-site this summer! If you want one but you're not going to camp-- send your order with someone headed there!!
