We explore distilleries, do barrel picks, and enjoy all of the laid-back goodness and friendliness that Kentucky has to offer! Chris loves organizing group trips to Kentucky and loves exploring different
towns in Kentucky. From finding the best bourbon bars to planning the distillery tours, Chris has done it all and loves sharing his passion with others! We own a brewery in our hometown of Waterloo, Illinois and have labeled ourselves as "a brewery with a bourbon problem". We're taking our "bourbon problem" one step further, and purchased a home in the heart of bourbon country! We wanted to get in the AirBnB/VRBO business in Bourbon Country, and Lawrenceburg is the perfect town for our rental home! Lawrenceburg is conveniently located 5 minutes from Wild Turkey, 10 minutes from 4 Roses Distillery, 20 minutes to Woodford Reserve and 25 minutes from Buffalo Trace Distillery (talk about a GREAT location for doing the Bourbon Trail!!). It reminds us of our hometown of Waterloo, IL in that there is so much to do (parks, car shows, Food Truck Fridays, festivals, etc.) Lawrenceburg is located 1 hour East of Louisville, 40 minutes West of Lexington, and 5 hours from Waterloo, Illinois (near St. Louis, MO). If you're traveling to the bourbon trail, especially with a group, this is the perfect place for you to stay. We would love to host you!
