We still have a few sites available for Father’s Day weekend and due to many requests we are hosting a Hot dog eating contest! Come see who the big dog is! Contest will be on Saturday at 12:00 at the main building. Please register with Jolene, this is her big dream and idea and no one is more excited than her!! She will be thrilled to sign you up!! Great weekend of camping and as always just a great new group of campers along with our local community that always shows up to enjoy the scene, thank you all for an enjoyable time! Nate Yauchzee and crew did a bang up job last night, we were all impressed! Look for these guys here again and if you get a chance to see them elsewhere be sure you get a chance to see them! Thanks guys, off to spend the day with our kids now!

Snapping turtle egg laying season, careful on Perry Road there are snappers all over!! Neat to see dinosaurs wandering around, watch out though, they are faster than you think so don’t mess with them!

Nate Yauchzee and friends tonight from 7-10, Come enjoy this local musician and encourage his musical career with your presence.

Nate is a singer-songwriter and performer who sings tunes from classic rock, country, folk, and many more genres. He primarily accompanies himself with acoustic guitar, and will have Wyatt Calcote joining him on the drum kit, and his girlfriend La who’s gonna sing a few tunes. Nate just released his first single “In My Head” on all platforms, and new music is coming soon! He’s excited to bring some of his favorite tunes to the Lokee-Hikee Bar and Grill, on 6/6 from 7-10 PM

China has nothing on us, we’ve been engaging in child slave labor since these kids could crawl… Always giving them tasks, always encouraging good effort, good results and to double triple check their work… Now When We send these girls to do a job they hammer it out and they do a pretty good job.. Yeah I bitch if it’s not perfect and they complain that they did it right, we all think we know everything… However in the end the job gets done and everyone is making gains. Once again like anyone, I often question if I’ve done right by these kids.. Maybe I’ve involved them too much, maybe I’ve put too much on their shoulders, I don’t really know… But They are capable and that was my goal, they don’t really need us anymore and that makes me happy and sad… Anyways, I’m proud of these girls, they know how to get s**t done.. If you’re driving by today give them a beep beep!!
Enjoy this sunshine and get something accomplished today, It’s the ultimate stress reliever.

I have to start posting what goes on every weekend and who is here, always so many stories… So… Here a glimpse of last weekend, we started with setup and relax, a few cocktails, several BS sessions, a ceremonial accidental chair burning, more BS sessions, fort building, car show, more food, several birthday parties, wild flowers for Mom, beach time, some fishing, co****le etc etc… Hope to see you one of these weekends!

We enjoyed Taco Tuesday for the month of May and are grateful for you however it literally tears part of our souls out when we have to stop working outside at 2:30 to then go inside and be inside until 10:00-11:00 at night… We literally stare out the window at the sunshine and ponder things we should be doing, We have so much outside work to do we have to focus on it while we have this weather.. Maybe in the fall we will revisit this trend?? Working on some pretty neat offerings in the near future, stay tuned! Love you all! Jesse and the girls!
