🏡 SAME CABIN. DIFFERENT PRICE. HERE’S WHY. 💰

When you book a vacation rental through Airbnb or Vrbo, you might not realize how much of the advertised price goes to the booking platform instead of the people actually hosting your stay.

Here’s what happens when our properties are booked through third-party sites:

🔸 Airbnb: 15.5% of the booking amount goes directly to Airbnb through the commission charged to us.

🔸 Vrbo: We pay a 12% commission, and Vrbo also charges guests a separate platform service fee.

😳 Here’s the frustrating part: These commissions can be built into the advertised rental rates. So it may look like WE are charging those higher prices, when a significant portion is actually going to the third-party platform!

And there’s another downside…

💬 Limited Direct Communication. Third-party booking platforms can restrict how we communicate with guests, making it harder to provide the personal, local service we’re known for.

🌲 THERE’S A BETTER WAY TO BOOK!

When you book directly with Leavenworth Stays by NW Comfy Cabins Vacation Rentals, you can:

✅ Avoid third-party booking platform fees
✅ Communicate directly with our local team
✅ Get personalized recommendations and assistance
✅ Enjoy the SAME beautiful vacation homes without the unnecessary middleman

❤️ We’re a local vacation rental company, and we’d rather put more value into your vacation than pay commissions to a booking platform.

Before you book on Airbnb or Vrbo, compare the price directly with us!

🏔️ BOOK DIRECT. SUPPORT LOCAL. SAVE MORE.

⭐ Exciting news for our Upper Valley PRSA residents ⭐ Registration is officially LIVE for the City's parking permit for PRSA residents. This special rate structure is exclusively for residents living within the Upper Valley Park and Recreation Service Area (PRSA) boundaries.

What’s the PRSA resident rate?
• $1.00 per hour for your first 3 hours ($3.00 total for 3 hours!)
• After 3 hours, rates revert to standard market pricing.
• Note: On-street parking remains a 3-hour maximum.
• Valid at pay-to-park on-street spots and eligible city-operated parking lots.

Ready to Register? Signing up is simple through our newly launched Parking Permit Portal, where you can manage your personal dashboard and vehicles directly from your phone or computer.

Before you start, make sure you have digital copies of these documents for your PRSA LOCAL permit:
1. Proof of Address: Current utility bill or lease agreement
2. Residency Verification: Voter registration or local ID showing full-time residency
3. Vehicle Registration: Valid vehicle registration matching your local PRSA address

👉 Register today: Head over to the new parking portal at parkleavenworth.com and follow the step-by-step account setup and register your plate to claim your PRSA resident rate! Heads-up: Resident rates do not apply immediately upon registration. Once City staff review and approve your documents, you'll receive an email confirming your resident discount is active.

Happy parking!

[ The Upper Valley Park and Recreation Service Area (PRSA) is a voter-approved Special Purpose District governed by a multi-jurisdictional volunteer board. Established in 1997, its primary function is funding the maintenance and operation of the community pool through a voter-approved property tax levy. Its geographic boundaries cover the City of Leavenworth and extend into adjacent unincorporated areas, including portions of the Chumstick Highway, Icicle Road, East Leavenworth Road, and Peshastin.
