We are located on the Black River in Lesterville, Missouri. We are a seasonal campground operating from April-October. Through the years we've seen many changes. Lots of our friends remember us for our jeep runs, mud-pits, jacked up 4-wheel drives and river riding back in the 1980's & 1990's. But since the summer of 2000 we've changed our reputation from party place to family friendly. Today, we s

trictly serve friends and families looking for a low-key, relaxing stay on Black River. We offer tent and RV camping. With over 120 sites, we strive to make our campground a home away from home. Many of our guests rent RV lots and stay for the entire summer. At Parks Bluff you are greeted with friendly staff who are eager to make your stay an enjoyable one. There's nothing like a relaxing float trip on the beautiful crystal clear Black River. We can provide you with a wide variety of floating options at affordable prices. Float trips are available daily. A lot of folks like to spend the day at the river barbequing and swimming with their friends and family. Day passes are available so you can enjoy the river by day and still be home to sleep in your own bed that night. We encourage you to check us out further. Lesterville is a wonderful little town; and we hope you'll come for a visit. We're confident; if you visit our campground we know you'll want to come back again and again.

Attention Parks Bluff Guests! Please spread the word!

We’ve made important updates to our motorized vehicle and bicycle policies to keep everyone safe and to protect the peaceful environment we all enjoy. Effective immediately, please note the following changes:

Licensed drivers only — Anyone without a valid driver’s license is prohibited from operating any motorized or electric vehicle within the campground.

Prohibited vehicles — ATVs, dirt bikes, motorized scooters, go‑carts, and loud vehicles are not allowed anywhere on the property.

Limited‑use vehicles — Side‑by‑sides and golf carts may operate during daylight hours only and must be parked at dark. These vehicles are strictly for travel within the campground and to the beach. Speed limits must be adhered to at all times.

Reckless driving consequences — Reckless operation will result in expulsion without refund. We are not an off-road park.

We may revoke anyone’s driving privileges at any time.

Bicycle safety — All bicycles and electric bikes must be parked at dusk for safety reasons.

These rules are designed to protect our guests, our property, and the peaceful atmosphere that makes this place special. Thank you for respecting them and helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

We haven’t quite completed our team. We need a Sunday gate guard from 8am-2pm. It pays $15 per hour.

We also need a part-time float worker and grounds maintenance person that can work during the week and Saturday’s. Must have a clean driver’s record and valid license. It pays $15 per hour. If you’re willing to get your class E endorsement it will pay more.

Both positions could be combined to offer more hours if someone wants them. Swing by the Parks Bluff Campground office any time between 9am-5pm daily to complete an application.
