Hey everyone, we had a nice opening day yesterday, but Mother Nature is having a temper tantrum today. It’s only 64 degrees out here now and we won’t open unless it’s 75 degrees. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better beach day. Sorry! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Have to give a super shoutout to Matt & Josh from Countryside Excavating!! They did a super cleanup of the two campers and awnings that caught on fire last week. Really stepped up and helped us out dealing with this cleanup. Can’t thank you guys enough. Would recommend these guys for any of your basement or concrete needs. They rock!!

Also earlier in the week before the fire, someone cut the fence at the front and broke the back windows out on the back porch. There was nothing to take in the clubhouse yet but they sure did make a mess. Someone has a hate on for us apparently. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Giving you all an update, there was a fire in the campground. A gentleman lost 2 campers, a golf cart, a boat, grills, picnic tables and everything he had in his campers. We lost 2 awnings, electric meters, water lines etc.. We have a big mess to deal with and lots of repairs to do in addition to getting the beach and clubhouse ready to go. So bear with us and pray Mother Nature starts cooperating soon. We are seeing sunshine in the future. Hope to see you soon! 😀🤩.

Just taking a minute to let everyone know we are in and out of the lake at odd times trying to get things picked up and back in shape. We have had a lot of wind damage, lots of limbs down and a real mess with corn fodder every where. So bear with us, the wind has not been our friend but we are slowly making progress! We have had some family health issues so we have been having doctors appointments that are a priority.
