🧡 November is the month of giving thanks, and we have SO much to be thankful for! 🧡
I want to start by shouting out a few people who probably have NO idea just how much they mean to us and how appreciated they are. These are the people behind the scenes who have saved our tails more times than we can count and make race weeks a whole lot less stressful!
❤️ Jim Rocket – We truly don’t know what we’d do without Jim! He’s dropped everything to come save us from more than one last-minute emergencies. He shows up without hesitation in the evenings, weekends, whenever. His wife Serena is a saint who keeps me sane. We’re so thankful to have them in our lives!
❤️ Tom Martin – Our septic guy and an absolute GODSEND! Tom is one of those rare people you NEVER have to worry about. He shows up, works hard, and takes care of us year-round. Bonus, he is hilarious and brings us the best homegrown veggies!
❤️ Roy & Pat Shirah – Roy is usually up before we are, making trash runs. He also helps park campers when the guys are no where to be found, and helps with anything we throw his way along with delivering endless pain killers and somehow knowing exactly when we need them 🍹
Pat starts weeks before the week begins hand-painting 30+ rocks for EVERY race to give out complimentary, keeps us fed, and always makes sure we have dessert! They take care of us in more ways than they know.
❤️ Woody – Our jack of all trades! I can call him in the middle of a crazy race day, and without hesitation, he’s there. From golf cart batteries to fixing whatever else we’ve managed to break, he’s always willing to help!
❤️ Kevin & Jenn – These two have been with us since the very beginning. They’ve helped build this park right alongside us. Jenn goes above and beyond with every theme we dream up, and Kevin is the guy who’ll be covered in mud at 10 PM helping fix a water leak. They’ve been there through it ALL.
There are lots more thank-yous coming, but I wanted to start with these special people who make this crazy adventure possible.
We love y’all, and our lives are better because you’re part of them. 🧡🏁
