Why we waited 52 years after high school graduation to get together, I'll never know. Llano showed these Austin girls a good time! Even a Llano deer proudly displayed our school colors while they were here.
Looking at yearbooks took all of the first night at Flossie's. Saturday we walked uphill and spent 7 hours on the square. Bought items from the Market vendors, and from many of the stores around the square.
Joe's Bar for lunch and cold beer, and onto a great Western music show, including a young fiddle player, at the Palace Theatre afternoon matinee.
Back to the creamery for dessert and then more shopping on the downhill walk to Flossies.
Badu for supper and music on the patio finished off the day.
Sunday after much more catching up, we took a walk along the river and stopped at Whimseys for great buys on vintage items. I gotta say, Llano truly held the interest of all the Austin girls.
And, everyone that I introduced them to gave them the kindest of greetings.
Thank you Lord for sunshine, laughter and friends. And thank you Llano for showing my friends all the perks of small town living. It is a great little town full of good people.
