Casita Chamisa Bed & Breakfast in the North Valley Our New Mexico Bed and Breakfast is located in Albuquerque's Beautiful North Valley, providing b&b services with a variety of rooms to chose from!

Casita Chamisa is a historical property with millennia of history. The property has a carbon foot print dating back to 735 BCE (over 2500 years). It was the site of Native America ruins inhabited between 1300-1600 AD, which turned Casita Chamisa into an archeological dig site for 6 years back in the 1990s. The original house was built in 1880s serving as an Inn for the Guadalupe trail. Author Jack

Schaefer sold the house the Arnold and Katherine Sargeant in 1976. They turned it into the first bed and breakfast in Albuquerque. After one addition Katherine (famous archeologist in Albuquerque) discovered pottery all over the property when it rained. Before anything else was built they decided dig. A two story ruin was found below the ground level and took 6 years to uncover. Although Arnold and Katherine are no longer with us, their memory's and those of their guests added to the history of the Casita Chamisa. Their granddaughter Sarah is now the Caretaker and aims to create more history with you.

We are sad to announce that Casita Chamisa is now closed. We want to thank everyone who has been part of Casita Chamisa Bed and Breakfast and know that we will miss you all. Thank you for all of your support through everything and wish everyone the best of luck.
Arnold and Kit were amazing beings who were active in the community and always welcomed everyone into their home. They opened Casita Chamisa Bed and Breakfast which was the first BnB in Albuquerque. Thank you Colonel and Kit we miss both of you greatly.

We're cooking up one of the Col. famous breakfast for our full house this morning. The famous blue corn pancakes with homemade blueberry syrup, local sausage, local eggs and fresh squeezed OJ.

We finally got our first snow of the season! Not much, but we served Huevos Rancheros to keep everyone warm.
Come stay with us! The pool is warm and the chef has been making amazing breakfasts.
