👻 Costumes, candy, and a small-town Main Street — Halloween done right. 👻

The Loudonville Halloween Parade steps off Saturday, October 31. Line up at 3:30pm, parade starts at 4:00pm, then downtown trick-or-treating runs 5:00–7:00pm. Costume judging follows right after the parade.

It's the same weekend as the Mohican 5K, so if you're already making a trip of it — race in the morning, costumes in the afternoon, it's a full day in Loudonville either way. Stay at Flora Springs or Fauna Bluff and you've got a quiet, forested basecamp for all of it. Fair warning: we've heard a few things wander these 64 acres after dark. We can neither confirm nor deny.

🏃 Halloween morning, but make it a race. 🏃

The 19th Annual Mohican 5K & Fun Run hits the road Saturday, October 31 — 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk at 9:00am, 5K at 9:30am, starting at 160 Wally Road. Every registration helps maintain and improve the Loudonville-Mohican bike path, so you're running for something that keeps giving back to the trails around here.

Make a weekend of it: drive in Friday, stay at Flora Springs or Fauna Bluff, and wake up minutes from the start line with the fall color still hanging on in the trees. 🎡 It's Street Fair week in Loudonville! 🎡

October 6–10, downtown comes alive with five days of free community fun — livestock shows, tractor pulls, live entertainment on the main stage, amusement rides, games, and more food than you can hit in one visit.

If you're coming into town for it, don't just day-trip — make a weekend of it. Flora Springs and Fauna Bluff are a short drive from downtown, so you can spend your days at the fair and your nights unwinding on 64 private acres of forest, away from the noise and the lights.

The Fall Foliage Drive-It-Yourself Tour is back — October 11–25 — winding you through Mohican Country and Mohican State Park with scenic stops, hiking trailheads, and local shops along the way.

Make Modern Mohican your basecamp for it. Wake up in Flora Springs or Fauna Bluff surrounded by the same forest you'll be driving through, grab coffee on the deck while the canopy turns gold and red, then head out for a day of self-guided exploring — you're already parked in the middle of it.

Floor-to-ceiling windows mean you don't even have to leave the couch to catch the color change. But you should. It's worth it.
