The summer is slowly turning toward home, but there’s still a lot of the season left to enjoy. Central Virginia has a wealth of history, wineries and brewery attractions to make your stay memorable, while a “No” day relaxing at our saltwater pool is truly refreshing. Even the drought seems to have taken a mini break. The recent afternoon thunderstorms helped our wildflower meadow, our featured picture this month, find its footing finally exploding into color, and my veg garden now supplies our breakfasts and Innkeeper dinners.

During our consultation call, A told me she wanted photos that were framable, free, and when I suggested taking portraits that would be a "Jane Austen Romance" kind of vibe, she knew we were on the same page.

Out on the hills, A kicked off her shoes, and the pair frolicked, romped, and laughed during the magic we created in that moment.
