A project we started February 24th of last year - renewing a window and redoing the roof around it - finally got finished yesterday! We received and installed the blinds in that room.
What does that mean for you? We opened Sally's Room starting this weekend! Sally's Room is on the third floor and has a King-sized bed. Or two twins, if you let us know as part of your reservation. The Vermont Castings gas oven with the two chairs in the room give you that homey feeling. Sally's room is the only one of our rooms that doesn't have the bathroom en-suite - the private bathroom is across the hallway.

Our Story

Well, The Governor’s Inn is no longer for sale! As of December 30th, my husband and I took over the Inn (of course our cat believes he really owns the place!).

After three years of not being run as an Inn some renovation and safety upgrades are required. The plan is to re-open The Governor’s Inn later this year - stay tuned for updates!

I am excited for this new chapter in the Inn’s and our lives and I am looking forward to hopefully meeting you all at The Governor’s Inn.
