There was a time in America, where large front porches welcomed your neighbor to stop by for a visit, where kids could play hide and seek until dark, and cool evenings were spent playing dominoes or bridge with close friends. We want to invite you back to a place where either your memories will be revived or reminders of simpler life and another America can be experienced. Whether paddling on the

San Marcos River, travelling for business, starting a taste-testing trip up the Texas Barbecue Trail, or planning a wedding or other special occasion, we hope that you will come be our guest and leave as a new friend.

Dear friends and family,

Due to my health and other changes in my life, the Ainsworth House Inn has officially closed and will no longer operate as a bed and breakfast. We have just signed a contract on the sale of the home to a wonderful, local family that will keep the home as a historic home but will not offer rooms. Thank you to all who have patronized the Ainsworth House Inn for the last 8 years. It has been our pleasure to serve you. We hope that you will continue to come to Luling and visit our wonderful little town!
