“AirBnB” is like “Kleenex.” It’s a brand name that has come to be used to describe something generic. The actual terms are “short-term rental” and “tissue.” I constantly hear people say they “got an AirBnB” when what they mean is that they found a privately owned place to rent for a short time. Now AirBnB is a fine online intermediary rental platform. It has a global reach, vets both hosts and guests, and provides a good amount of security for both. But you pay a substantial fee for that. And, it’s actually a misnomer for the most part. Most “AirBnB” rentals are not actual B&Bs: no breakfasts or meals are provided.
River Dell is a real Bed & Breakfast. We pride ourselves in expertly crafted morning meals. We cater to each guest party because we only host one at a time. When you short-term rent at River Dell you can chose what, from a sumptuous list, and when, to enjoy your breakfast. And, you can secure dates directly from our website and bypass any intermediaries, along with the fees.
As of late September we have these Fall dates open and available:
• October 23 – 28
• November 2 – 10, 16 – 22
• December 1 – 20
Of course check the availability calendar on the website for the latest updates. We would love to host you this Fall!
