Excellent update on the Stewart Creek Fire burning between Two Harbors and Beaver Bay over the weekend! The fire is contained and evacuations are being lifted. Highway 61 is expected to reopen tonight.

The Stewart Trail fire is now 100% contained, and MnDot says Highway 61 will reopen Tuesday night.
